A BIOGRAPHY OF FERNANDO TORRES

Fernando Torres was born in Fuenlabrada, Spain on the 20th of March in 1984.
Torres became interested in football when he was only 5, and he started playing with the team of his country. He started playing in the position of goalkeeper as his father, but then he changed to striker. Then he progressed and he went to an 11-side team, Rayo. He scored 55 goals in a season and then he joined Atlético de Madrid. When he was 15 he signed his first professional contract, and he debut on 27th may 2001 against Leganés. A week later he socred his first goal. At the age of 19 he was named Atlético's captain.
In the 2006- 2007 some teams asked for him such as Newcastle United and Chelsea but he declined the offer by Newcastle and his president considered him as an untransferable player. But some days later arrived an offer of Liverpool, of about 25 millon and the offer included an other player, and then Atlético agreed a deal with Liverpool FC.
Torres debuted on 11 August 2007, and four days later he debut in Champions League. He was named the Premier League player of the month in February 2008. In May he finished second after C. Ronaldo in the footballer of the year.
On 31th January 2011 Liverpool accepted the offer of Chelsea of about 57 million euros. He don't have the same luck in Chelsea but in 2012 he won the Champions League.
Now he's still in Chelsea FC. I think that he is an explosive striker with good shoot and very complete. I think that a lot of teams would like Fernando in their club.
